Ezekiel 28:8, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
God speaks through Ezekiel to the ruler of Tyre, a wealthy island city whose king has grown proud, claiming divinity because of his commercial success. Verse 8 announces the outcome of that pride: foreign invaders will bring him down to the Pit, the grave, and he will die a violent death in the heart of the seas, the very place he thought secured his throne.
