Ezekiel 34:11, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

Ezekiel 34 begins with God charging Israel's leaders, the shepherds, with feeding themselves while the flock scattered and starved. In verse 11 the Lord answers that failure by taking the task on himself: "I Myself will search for My flock and seek them out." The Hebrew verb darash, to seek or inquire after, is the same one used for the shepherds' neglect in verse 6, where no one searched for the sheep.
