Ezekiel 45:13 meaning and explanation
This is the contribution you are to offer: a sixth of an ephah from each homer of wheat, and a sixth of an ephah from each homer of barley.
Ezekiel 45:13, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
In Ezekiel's vision of the restored land, the Lord through the prophet instructs the people how to support the temple worship. A homer was a large unit of dry measure, roughly ten ephahs, so a sixth of an ephah from each homer was a modest, fixed share of every harvest of wheat or barley.
