Genesis 22:18 meaning and explanation
And through your offspring all nations of the earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”
Genesis 22:18, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
These words come from the angel of the LORD, speaking God's oath to Abraham after Abraham has been stopped from sacrificing Isaac and has offered the ram instead. The promise repeats the earlier covenant blessing of Genesis 12:3, now tied explicitly to Abraham's obedience.
