Genesis 45:13, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Joseph, now second only to Pharaoh, has just revealed himself to the brothers who sold him into slavery, and he is sending them back to Canaan to fetch their father. In this verse he tells them what to report: not his suffering or his long imprisonment, but his "splendor" in Egypt, literally his weight or glory, and everything they have seen with their own eyes.
