Hebrews 13:22 meaning and explanation
I urge you, brothers, to bear with my word of exhortation, for I have only written to you briefly.
Hebrews 13:22, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
The writer closes his letter with a personal appeal. He calls his readers “brothers,” a term of family affection for the whole congregation, and asks them to bear with his “word of exhortation,” a phrase used elsewhere in the New Testament for a sermon-style message of encouragement and warning (see Acts 13:15).
