Isaiah 11:8 meaning and explanation
The infant will play by the cobra’s den, and the toddler will reach into the viper’s nest.

Isaiah has just described the coming Davidic king on whom the Spirit rests, and now pictures the peace he brings. In verse 8 the Hebrew words for infant and toddler suggest a child barely weaned and one just learning to walk, the most helpless of humans.
