Isaiah 28:8 meaning and explanation
For all their tables are covered with vomit; there is not a place without filth.
Isaiah 28:8, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Isaiah has just turned from Ephraim's drunken leaders to the priests and prophets of Jerusalem, who stagger and reel from strong drink and are muddled in their visions and judgments (verses 7). Verse 8 paints the picture plainly: their tables are covered with vomit, and there is no place without filth.
