Isaiah 33:15 meaning and explanation
He who walks righteously and speaks with sincerity, who refuses gain from extortion, whose hand never takes a bribe, who stops his ears against murderous plots and shuts his eyes tightly against evil—
Isaiah 33:15, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Isaiah 33 addresses the Assyrian threat against Jerusalem, and verse 14 has just asked who can dwell with God's consuming fire. Verse 15 answers with a portrait of the person who can: one who walks righteously, speaks sincerely, refuses profit from extortion, refuses bribes, and shuts his ears and eyes to murderous plots and evil.
