Explanation preview

Isaiah 60 is a prophecy of Zion's restoration, spoken to a city that had been ruined and emptied. In verse 13 the LORD promises that Lebanon's famed cedars and other fine woods will be brought to Jerusalem to beautify the temple, called here the place of My sanctuary and the place of My feet, a way of naming God's dwelling among His people.
