Isaiah 60:8 meaning and explanation
Who are these who fly like clouds, like doves to their shelters?
Isaiah 60:8, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
In this chapter God speaks through the prophet to Jerusalem, humbled and emptied, promising that her scattered children and the wealth of nations will stream back to her. Verse 8 is a burst of wonder, perhaps the watchmen or the city herself asking who these are, flying home like clouds and like doves to their shelters.
