Jeremiah 18:2 meaning and explanation
“Go down at once to the potter’s house, and there I will reveal My message to you.”
Jeremiah 18:2, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
The LORD is speaking to Jeremiah, the prophet sent to announce judgment on Judah before Jerusalem fell to Babylon. The command to go down to the potter's house is a deliberate setup: God promises to reveal His message there, not through a vision but through something Jeremiah will see with his own eyes.
