Therefore behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will send to him wanderers, who will pour him out. They will empty his vessels and shatter his jars.

The LORD continues his judgment oracle against Moab, Israel's neighbor east of the Dead Sea, spoken through Jeremiah. Verse 11 pictured Moab as wine left undisturbed on its dregs, settled and complacent, never poured from vessel to vessel.
