John 10:35, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

Jesus is answering opponents who accuse him of blasphemy for calling himself the Son of God (verses 33 and 36). He cites Psalm 82:6, where God addresses human judges as "gods," and argues from the lesser to the greater: if Scripture can call mere recipients of God's word "gods," his own claim is not blasphemy.
