John 6:2 meaning and explanation
A large crowd followed Him because they saw the signs He was performing on the sick.
John 6:2, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
The setting is Galilee, shortly before Passover, after Jesus has crossed the sea and gone up a mountain with his disciples. The crowd is not yet a committed following; John says plainly that their motive was the signs, the healings they had witnessed.
