Joshua 10:5, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

Five Amorite kings form a coalition because Gibeon, a large and powerful city, has made peace with Israel. Adoni-zedek of Jerusalem summons the kings of Hebron, Jarmuth, Lachish and Eglon, and together they besiege Gibeon to punish its treaty with Joshua.
