Judges 16:28 meaning and explanation
Then Samson called out to the LORD: “O Lord GOD, please remember me. Strengthen me, O God, just once more, so that with one vengeful blow I may pay back the Philistines for my two eyes.”
Judges 16:28, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Samson speaks these words in the temple of Dagon, blind and shackled, propped between the pillars while the Philistine rulers celebrate. The man who broke his Nazirite vow now prays, addressing God as Lord GOD, the covenant name, and asks to be remembered.
