Leviticus 10:3 meaning and explanation
Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the LORD meant when He said: ‘To those who come near Me I will show My holiness, and in the sight of all the people I will reveal My glory.’” But Aaron remained silent.
Leviticus 10:3, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Moses speaks these words to Aaron just after Aaron's sons Nadab and Abihu have been consumed by fire from the LORD for offering unauthorized fire at the tabernacle. Moses explains that the tragedy displays what the LORD had said: those who draw near to Him in priestly service must honor Him as holy, and His glory is revealed before the whole people.
