Leviticus 25:54 meaning and explanation
Even if he is not redeemed in any of these ways, he and his children shall be released in the Year of Jubilee.
Leviticus 25:54, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
This verse closes a case law given to Moses on Mount Sinai for Israelites who had fallen into poverty and sold themselves to a foreigner living among them. Their families could redeem them, or they could redeem themselves if they prospered, but verse 54 guarantees that even if no redemption ever came, the man and his children were released in the Year of Jubilee.
