Luke 11:3 meaning and explanation
Give us each day our daily bread.
Luke 11:3, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
In Luke 11 Jesus is teaching his disciples to pray, answering a request for a prayer like the one John gave his followers. This line asks the Father for bread day by day, echoing Israel's daily manna in the wilderness and assuming real dependence rather than stored-up security.
