Mark 11:12 meaning and explanation
The next day, when they had left Bethany, Jesus was hungry.
Mark 11:12, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Mark has just described the entry into Jerusalem and the visit to the temple, and now the story moves to the next morning on the road from Bethany. Mark alone notes that Jesus was hungry, a small detail that keeps the scene firmly human: the Son of God shares ordinary bodily need.
