Numbers 18:19 meaning and explanation
All the holy offerings that the Israelites present to the LORD I give to you and to your sons and daughters as a permanent statute. It is a permanent covenant of salt before the LORD for you and your offspring.”
Numbers 18:19, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
The LORD is speaking to Aaron, setting out how the priests and their families will live from the offerings Israel brings. Since Aaron's line receives no land inheritance, God assigns them a share of the holy gifts, and this verse extends that share to sons and daughters alike.
