Numbers 5:19, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

The priest, following the LORD's instructions to Moses, places the suspected wife under oath before the LORD. The oath names the condition of innocence: if no other man has slept with her and she has not gone astray while under her husband's authority, she may be immune, that is, cleared, from the bitter water that brings a curse.
