Philippians 2:13 meaning and explanation
For it is God who works in you to will and to act on behalf of His good purpose.
Philippians 2:13, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Paul writes to the Philippian believers while imprisoned, urging them to live out their salvation together (verses 12 and 14). Verse 13 gives the reason such effort is possible: God himself is at work inside them, enabling both the willing and the doing.
