Psalms 147:11, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Psalm 147 is a hymn of praise, probably sung after the return from exile, celebrating God's care for Jerusalem and for all creation. In verse 11 the speaker contrasts what delights the LORD with what does not: not the strength of a horse or the legs of a warrior, the usual measures of military might.
