Psalms 18:40, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

Psalm 18 is a royal song of thanksgiving, credited to David on the day the LORD rescued him from Saul and all his enemies. In verse 40 he addresses God directly, confessing that the victory was God's doing: the LORD gave him the upper hand, literally "the neck" of his foes, so that they turned and fled.
