Psalms 46:11, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

This closing line repeats the refrain from verse 7, sung by the sons of Korah, a temple guild, in a psalm for the choirmaster. After the command to be still and the promise that God will be exalted among the nations, the congregation answers by naming God twice: the LORD of Hosts, the commander of heaven's armies, and the God of Jacob, the covenant God of Israel's ancestor.
