Psalms 78:12, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
The speaker is Asaph, a temple musician, retelling Israel's history so that later generations will trust God rather than repeat their ancestors' failure. Verse 12 begins the long recital of the exodus: God performed miracles in Egypt, in the region of Zoan, a city in the Nile Delta associated with Pharaoh's court.
