Revelation 13:3 meaning and explanation
One of the heads of the beast appeared to be mortally wounded. But the mortal wound was healed, and the whole world marveled and followed the beast.
Revelation 13:3, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
In John's vision the beast rises from the sea, a composite of the four beasts of Daniel 7, and the dragon, identified earlier as the ancient serpent, gives it power and throne. One head looks slain yet lives, a dark parody of the Lamb who was slain and lives.
