Revelation 13:4 meaning and explanation
They worshiped the dragon who had given authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can wage war against it?”
Revelation 13:4, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
In Revelation 13 John sees a beast rise from the sea, and verse 4 shows the world's response. The dragon, identified earlier in Revelation as Satan, gives the beast its power and throne, so worship of the beast becomes worship of the dragon behind it.
