Revelation 15:8 meaning and explanation
And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power; and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.
Revelation 15:8, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Revelation 15 pictures the heavenly temple, the tabernacle of the Testimony, opened as the seven angels receive bowls of God's wrath. Smoke filling the temple echoes Exodus 40:34-35, where God's glory filled the tabernacle so Moses could not enter, and Isaiah 6:4, where the house filled with smoke at the vision of God's holiness.
