Zechariah 10:1 meaning and explanation
Ask the LORD for rain in springtime; the LORD makes the storm clouds, and He will give everyone showers of rain and crops in the field.
Zechariah 10:1, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Zechariah speaks to a post-exilic community whose farms depended on the spring rains, the latter rains that ripened the grain before harvest. In a land where surrounding peoples consulted Baal or local diviners for fertility, the prophet directs Judah to ask the LORD, who made the storm clouds and gives rain.
