Colossians 2:18 meaning and explanation
Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you with speculation about what he has seen. Such a person is puffed up without basis by his unspiritual mind.
Colossians 2:18, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Paul writes to a church he has never visited, warning them against teachers who pressed extra religious experiences as proof of spiritual depth. Here he describes someone who takes pleasure in a show of humility and in the worship of angels, insisting on visions and unseen things as grounds for authority.
