Colossians 4:9 meaning and explanation
With him I am sending Onesimus, our faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They will tell you about everything here.
Colossians 4:9, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Paul writes from prison and sends Onesimus back to Colossae alongside Tychicus, the letter carrier. Onesimus was a slave belonging to Philemon, a Colossian, and Paul calls him a faithful and beloved brother who is one of you, meaning the church already knew him.
