Deuteronomy 28:68 meaning and explanation
The LORD will return you to Egypt in ships by a route that I said you should never see again. There you will sell yourselves to your enemies as male and female slaves, but no one will buy you.”
Deuteronomy 28:68, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Moses is closing the covenant curses delivered on the plains of Moab, warning Israel what will follow if they abandon the LORD. The verse reverses the exodus: the people once carried out of Egypt are shipped back, and the route God had sworn they would never see again becomes their road.
