Ezekiel 39:2 meaning and explanation
I will turn you around, drive you along, bring you up from the far north, and send you against the mountains of Israel.
Ezekiel 39:2, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
God speaks through Ezekiel to Gog, the leader of a coalition from the distant north, probably the region of Magog, Meshech and Tubal. The verse is part of a larger oracle in which God summons this enemy against Israel, not because Gog is strong, but because God is directing events.
