Ezekiel 48:8 meaning and explanation
Bordering the territory of Judah, from east to west, will be the portion you are to set apart. It will be 25,000 cubits wide, and the length of a tribal portion from east to west. In the center will be the sanctuary.
Ezekiel 48:8, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Ezekiel is shown the future division of the land among the restored tribes, and here the focus shifts to a strip set apart beside Judah. This strip is not a normal tribal allotment but a terumah, a "contribution" or offering of land dedicated to the LORD.
