Jeremiah 43:11 meaning and explanation
He will come and strike down the land of Egypt, bringing death to those destined for death, captivity to those destined for captivity, and the sword to those destined for the sword.

Jeremiah is in Tahpanhes, Egypt, where the Judean remnant fled in direct disobedience to God's command through him (verses 4 to 7). At God's direction he buried stones at Pharaoh's palace entrance and announced that Nebuchadnezzar would set his throne there (verses 9 and 10).
