For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have been utterly unfaithful to Me,” declares the LORD.

Explanation preview
The LORD is speaking through Jeremiah to the kingdom of Judah in its final decades before Babylon destroys Jerusalem. Verse 11 widens the charge to both houses, Israel and Judah, because the northern kingdom had already fallen and the south had not learned from it.
