Judges 11:18 meaning and explanation

Judges 11:18, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

Jephthah is answering the Ammonite king's claim that Israel stole land on the way from Egypt. Here he retells the wilderness journey: Israel went around Edom and Moab rather than through them, and camped across the Arnon, Moab's northern border, without entering Moabite territory.
