So Gideon built an altar to the LORD there and called it The LORD Is Peace. To this day it stands in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.
Judges 6:24, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Gideon has just seen the angel of the LORD face to face and feared he would die, but the LORD answered, "Peace be with you. Do not be afraid." In response Gideon builds an altar and names it Yahweh Shalom, "The LORD Is Peace." The name is a statement about God, not a wish for calm circumstances.
