Luke 13:35 meaning and explanation
Look, your house is left to you desolate. And I tell you that you will not see Me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.’”
Luke 13:35, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Jesus speaks these words near the end of his journey toward Jerusalem, lamenting over the city that kills the prophets. The "house" likely means the temple, the heart of Israel's worship, which will be left desolate.
