Luke 17:14 meaning and explanation
When Jesus saw them, He said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they were on their way, they were cleansed.
Luke 17:14, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
As Jesus travels toward Jerusalem between Samaria and Galilee, ten men with leprosy call out to him from a distance, as the law required of them. His command to show themselves to the priests follows the procedure of Leviticus 14, where a priest confirmed a healing and restored the person to the community.
