Daniel 11:10, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
The speaker is the angelic figure who has been revealing the future to Daniel, continuing the long prophecy of conflicts between the king of the South (the Ptolemaic rulers of Egypt) and the king of the North (the Seleucid rulers of Syria). Here the sons of the northern king gather a vast army and press the war back into the south, advancing like a flood and reaching the enemy's fortress.
